Years of developing his professional experience, Tomas has worked and consulted in a variety of related environments such as sports medicine facilities, personal training, and wellness spas. He expects the same attention and experience from his practice that clients would hope to receive for their personal needs.
Tomas' journey began in May of 2000, after graduating from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport and while working as a masseuse in a European Spa in Orange, Connecticut. There he specialized in deep tissue, hot stone, chakra, and relaxation massage, and began to enjoy giving massages as much as his clients enjoyed receiving them.
After a few years, Tomas moved to Greenwich, Connecticut with an opportunity to work for a Physical Therapy Center. His growth steadily continued while working in sports medicine with a variety of patients in a clinical setting, helping with post surgeries, replacements, sports injuries, and managing chronic pain. He helped with the treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and fascia, known as soft tissue, in addition to low back pain, neck pain, elbow pain, knee pain, shin splints, carpal tunnel syndrome, running injuries, and numerous other conditions.
Tomas' desire to help his clients inspires him to a lifelong pursuit of learning. This has earned him many certifications, including Thai Massage Certification in 2003 and certification in Cranial Sacral Therapy in 2007. Within seven years at the Physical Therapy Center, Tomas' vision of owning his business became clear, and his first successful venture was to additionally deliver his personalized massages to homes and offices in Connecticut and New York.
By June of 2008, Tomas' dream to expand into a space of his own became a reality with the opening of Natural Balance Therapeutic Massage in Shelton, Connecticut. In 2012, Tomas continued his vision at the office located at 101 Elizabeth Street, Derby, Connecticut, in the Plaza on the Green Shopping Center. Throughout the years, his hands-on experience and the growth of his practice have helped him develop a unique intuitive sense that supports his ever-growing client base.
Over the years, Tomas has also been a supporter for Walk for Parkinson in Fairfield and Relay for Life in Trumbull, where his concern for people and desire to help others takes him outside of his office into neighboring communities.
